Goods Inwards (CMM) Inspector

Major Recruitment Huddersfield | Ongoing, Full Time 37 Hours per week | £15.89 per hour.

Major Recruitment is looking for a Goods Inwards (CMM) Inspector to join one of our clients Quality team. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming components, carrying out precision measurements and supporting quality investigations.

Key responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming parts and record results accurately.
• Use measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and height gauges.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
• Programme and operate CMM equipment.
• Maintain quality records and support the Quality team with investigations.

About you:
You will have experience in inspection and manual measurement, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach are essential. Previous CMM experience is desirable.

Shifts: Rotating AM/PM

Week 1: Mon – Thu 6:00AM to 14:00PM, Fri 6:00AM to 11:00AM

Week 2: Mon – Thu 14:00PM to 22:00PM, Fri11:00AM to 16:00PM | Start: ASAP

Location: Shipley, Baildon.
